reminds me of the following line from an old hymn called "come thou fount of every blessing".

"Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above."

Everytime I've sang it this part really gets me, because I'm actually saying it as myself, admitting my fault.

This quote makes me think of when I was a kid. We loved exploring and would spend whole afternoons in search of adventure. Even though we'd often get lost, I remember always having a general sense that we'd be able to find our way home.

I love to explore - even today. Now I just use my car. I'll look at a road that I've never driven and think - umm...yeah - let's see where that goes. It's almost a game now - I get lost so I can find myself again. Yes - kinda weird, I know. But, whatever...
