I'm puzzled. I mean, I agree with the principle point of equality and all that. I'm puzzled because I haven't heard anyone from the McCain camp talk about Obama being black, yea or nay. I'm puzzled because I don't see strength of character in Obama. I'm hoping that if he loses, it won't be because he's black, and I hope that if he wins, it won't be because he's black; and I'm skeptical that either side will avoid making the argument.
So, was this a speech on race equality, or a speech about how Obama is the best candidate?
